Cultural and sporting holidays in the countryside
Welcome to La Borie d'Asplat
An unforgettable holiday at La Borie d'Asplat!
Relaxation and tranquility are guaranteed during your stay at this exceptional property surrounded by nature. Perched on the heights of Saint-Amand-de-Coly, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, La Borie d’Asplat offers a privileged setting where authenticity, comfort, and serenity come together.
Ideally located, the house gives you direct access to wooded hiking trails as soon as you step outside the gate, inviting you to explore the heart of Périgord Noir. Just minutes from the Lascaux Cave in Montignac, picturesque villages, and the emblematic castles of the Dordogne, it is the perfect starting point for discovering the region’s must‑see sites.

Over the centuries, the stony soil of the limestone hills was cleared to make agricultural work easier. Using these flat stones, known as lauzes, the early inhabitants of the Périgord Noir built low dry‑stone walls along the edges of their fields, as well as small shelters called cabanes or bories.
These structures were mainly used to store tools—particularly in the vineyards—or as a refuge for shepherds.
This is where you will spend most of your stay, relaxing in the shade of the covered terrace, under the parasols by the pool, or playing a game of table tennis in the garden, everything is designed for you to enjoy every moment.
The four bedrooms are spread across two wings. The first wing includes two spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The two other bedrooms are located in the second wing, set slightly lower on the property, and feature a large bathroom, separate toilet, and a quiet workspace.
The Central Wing runs alongside the terrace and includes the living room with a large farmhouse table, as well as the fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for family meals and evenings together when the temperatures are a little cool.
